In simple terms this book is about celebrating a great man’s life and loves. This client first came to me a couple of years ago to secretly work on designing a book as a very special surprise Christmas gift for her life partner. The book was to be of her partner’s photography – she was secretly sorting and copying images for months when she could sneak onto his computer so it could be a complete surprise. Well we managed to pull it off and I personally have to say it is one of my favourite books, for a few reasons – what a special person she must be to give such a generous gift and for him to be to be the receipient of one, but also the photography is simply beautiful and with 100+ pages of beautiful scenery and nature images it really makes a beautiful collection of his work and what a great way to showcase his photography than in a high-quality coffee table book.
Sadly though only a year later he was to pass away and just recently my client approached me to do a reprint of the book as gifts to recognise the first anniversary of his passing – truly a very special gift that Im sure the recipients will treasure for many years. We just add some of the last of his photographs which again are just beautiful. This book will always have a special place in my heart and my best wishes go to you Julianne and hopefully you can find some happiness in 2011.
Now Id like to share with you this wonderful collection of photography and remember to cherish the people in your life every day as life is way too short.
