Here is a sneak peek at Nicole & Scott’s wedding album which was supplied as a Large Portrait coffee table book with custom-designed printed hardcover and presented in a matching custom-designed printed clamshell box. Nicole & Scott also purchased additional copies for Parent Albums as special gifts to give their parents to serve as a memory of their special wedding day. Nicole & Scott also had us design up a second volume of their honeymoon photos.
This is a great example of a wedding album in a portrait format which really shows of portrait/vertical images but also by using the spread we also create edge-to-edge landscape/horizontal pages – best of both worlds.
The beautiful photography work is by Wollongong (a little seaside town south of Sydney) photographer, Dean Dampney. I love his style because he captures the emotions of the day extremely well in a casual manner, but most of all his use of light, angles and vision is what really sets his work apart. I also like his photography because it works well with my love of clean and simple design layouts which focus on showcasing the brilliant photography as a wedding album should do.
The photography in this wedding album truly shows why you should hire a professional photographer to photograph your wedding – its one day, but one very important day that you will talk about and show around your photos for the rest of your life – and you want to get it right and not leave it to chance that a friend/amateur can get all the important moments as well as all the little moments and detals !
